The design and style are different from today’s tartan kilt. In the past, 9 yards of cloth required to make a great kilt. At the time looms were used to weave fabric up to 30 inches wide. This traditional great kilt comes from the various top tartans.

Steps to Measure Great Kilt

Before buying a great kilt, measurement is important because the measuring of a great kilt is different than any other kilt. You need to follow the following steps for measurement

1. Waist Measurement: The waist measurement is the same as you measure the pants.
2. Length Measurement: In this step, measures your waist size to the knee cap.  

Size For Great Kilt

As we have 4 to 6-yard tartans available for a great kilt.  For the best size, follow our guidelines below:

4 Yards: It is perfect for guys with waist up to 38″

5 Yards: It is perfect for guys with waist up to 48″

6 Yards: It is perfect for guys with waist up to 60″
